Stacey White, while with RRM Design Group worked with the CSU Monterey Bay (CSUMB)
Facilities Planning and Capital Projects staff and project stakeholders to develop
a project program and feasibility study for a new technology-intensive building for
the School of Information Technology and Communications Design (ITCD). A $41,239,000
and 64,100 sf building located in the expanded CSUMB campus core, the new facility
will provide students and faculty with cutting-edge lab and lecture spaces, informal
gathering areas, undergraduate and graduate research space, faculty and department
offices, and university administration space. This new Academic Building II will
help to define the developing academic core of the campus and will enhance the collegial
and academic experience of all CSUMB students and faculty.
